Jesus once said of all the commands in the Bible, two are most important: Love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength and Love your neighbor as yourself. God says through His word and showed through His actions that LOVE is to be our highest goal, our strongest ambition, and our dominant life value. Beginning September 20, 2009 every member of Second Baptist Church is invited to participate in the church wide bible study “40 Days Toward Unconditional Love”. Jesus also said, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

This six week study will remind us of the Love of God, and the Love that demonstrates to the world that we are indeed Jesus’ disciples. To ensure that every member is able to walk this journey together, all of the primary teaching ministries in Second Baptist Church will be deferred to allow this one study to serve as the emphasis for the entire six week period. We look forward to seeing you on September 20, 2009 at 9 a.m. as we begin this 40 day journey together.

Pastor Randle will be guest speaker at the Starlight Baptist Church in Quincy, CA this afternoon at 3:00 pm for their churches anniversary. Please pray for him and those that will be traveling with him to that church.
