SBC News for Week of 02.23.20

Prayer & Bible Study each Tuesday evening. Prayer at 6:30 pm & Bible Study at 7 pm. 

Baptism is the second (2nd) Sunday of each month. If you are interested in being baptized please call the church office. 

Attention new members. If you have not yet begun the new members orientation class or if you have not yet completed the class, New Members Class meets each Sunday morning at 9 am and each Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm. Please make arrangements to attend class on one of these days. 

We are invited to worship with the Greater New Hope Baptist Church as they celebrate their Pastor & Wife’s 9th Anniversary, this afternoon at 3 pm. Rev. Robert Cox and the Bethel Baptist Church will be the special guest. Rev. William B. Lyons, Pastor. 

We are also invited to worship with the 1st Baptist Church of Black Springs as they celebrate their Pastor & Wife’s 35th Anniversary, Wednesday, March 4th at 7 pm. Pastor Horne will be preaching, the choir will minister and the ushers are asked to serve. 

Glenn Duncan Elementary School is sponsoring Literacy week, March 9th -13th, 2020. If you are interested in volunteering to read to a class please contact the church office or by directly contacting Carolina at 702/576-5689 for details.
