Second Baptist Church is committed to the growth and development of America’s youth.  We believe education, spiritual growth and community service are the keys to success in today’s society.  We have developed this scholarship program to assist individuals who have recently graduated and/or currently enrolled in college, in their pursuit of higher education.

We provide scholarship awards to Second Baptist Church members who have at least a 2.50 cumulative grade point average.  Students should also be actively involved in leadership roles in their school, church, or community.

The minimum award amount will be $500 for the Second Baptist Church Scholarship and $1000 for
the W.C. and Violene Webb Scholarship.

These Scholarship programs are for undergraduate students only. Incomplete applications and facsimiles will not be considered.  It would be advised that applicant make a copy for their records.
